As the demand for QinetiQ's products and services continues to increase, the QinetiQ Engineering & Operations (E&O) division is looking to appoint a Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) Platform Support Engineer to help develop, support and maintain the QinetiQ Solution Development Environment (SDE) Platform.
The SDE Platform is a set of integrated tools and environments to support QinetiQ project teams developing full stack solutions (i.e. including hardware, electro-optical, firmware, and software components) for research prototypes through to commercial products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Support Engineer to help shape, deliver, and maintain an essential part of modern and cutting-edge solution development in QinetiQ.
The role is open to a range of Support Engineer's with varying levels of skills and experience. There is the possibility to grow into a technical specialist and/or leadership role, as a wider roll-out will require a larger team to support and continually develop the platform.
The role will be based at either the main QinetiQ Farnborough headquarters, or at the QinetiQ Malvern site.
As a Support Engineer, you will Co-develop CI/CD principles and processes with engineers and business areas.
You will review and improve the QinetiQ CI/CD principles and processes.
You will maintain CI/CD tools of the SDE Platform, working with the IT infrastructure team.
The Support Engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline configurations;
The Support Engineer should have experience of CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps;
You should have experience using and administering the Atlassian suite;
You must have experience with either AWS or Azure.
