One of the key features of our digital programme is an online portal, developed on Microsoft's Azure platform, to enable residents to self-serve by accessing a range of online services anywhere, anytime. The Senior Integration Engineer Role Our goal in Digital Technology is to deliver solutions that help the business work more efficiently, faster and more effectively. We work with colleagues in the wider business to develop new systems. We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join our growing Agile (Scrum) Development Teams who will contribute to the continued success of our Digital products and technical solutions. As a Senior Integration Engineer you will provide Technical Leadership on major Application & Data Integration projects. Reporting to the Head of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the technical design and implementation, advising on Patterns and Practices for Integration, API & Serverless Architectures using Microsoft Azure Integration Services and related Cloud components. As the Lead Integration Engineer you will lead on multiple integration Projects building APIs & Data pipelines to connect our Digital Microservices Platform with our Business Systems and external third parties. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Data & Application Integration by leveraging Azure Integration Services. About You: You will have hands-on experience on API development following API-led architecture. In addition, you will have hands-on experience with leading SaaS applications and have specific knowledge of Azure API Manager (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid along with knowledge on administrative aspects of Azure integration platform. Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills are also required for this role. You will work with cross functional teams in a collaborative way and play a key role in each phase of the software/product development lifecycle.
