A local authority based in Oxford, are currently looking for a RPA Developer for permanent opportunity paying up to £41,000 per annum with an excellent benefits package. We are looking for an experienced UIPath RPA developer, with experience of using the tool to analyse business requirements, map process flows, design and build RPA processes, and implement them in a live production environment.Responsibilities Support and development Council's business applications, falling primarily within the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) space as the Council builds custom automations across a wide range of business systems and databases.Has significant know-how and technical knowledge of UIPath RPA software and its application in a commercial or public sector environment.Carries out advanced business process analysis and production of RPA workflows across a range of business applications to ensure the maximum automation of business systems.Takes ownership of any RPA related issues raised, carries out investigation and resolves issues with minimal disruption to the business. Has a wide degree of autonomy, with scope for decision-making in relation to resolving issues.Acts as the first point of contact for staff and provides effective end-user support as required.Has accountability for the relationship with one or more ICT support providers within the RPA space, escalating any RPA related issues as required and reviewing the effectiveness of service on a periodic basis.Effectively engages and communicates with staff to understand how they are using the core systems, understands their problems and discusses solutions in a non-technical language.Plans and leads on projects relating to the portfolio of applications, coordinating activities and delivery of changes.Provides training to staff on RPA as required, helping to develop internal guidance notes, training material and other procedural documents to help staff better understand how RPA can be used to automate existing business processes.Develops, maintains and uses insights from the development of automation processes to further improve applications, challenging current approaches, processes and procedures.Maintains up-to-date RPA architecture diagrams and systems roadmaps to improve the effectiveness of internal ICT systems through automation.Please do apply with your most up to date CV in the first instance.
