DevOps Engineer (Cloud Trading Tech)We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a team building a cloud based trading data analytics platform and investing heavily to ensure the reliability, security and scalability of the environment.Uptime and reliability is vital to the platform which runs alongside high-frequency trading systems to analyse real-time trading data. The platform runs on Linux, AWS and is heavily containerised (Kubernetes on bare metal deployed via Puppet) and the team very much work with an 'infrastructure as code' mindset.The DevOps team is not seen as a development support function, but as absolutely critical to the success of the company as a whole. Engineering and Ops teams work very closely together to ensure the use of both the right tooling but also the right process and methodology.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with;Broad Ops and Infrastructure knowledge; preferably with very strong Linux knowledge, Puppet and JenkinsExperience of cloud environments; preferably AWS but openExposure to wider tooling such as Kubernetes or Docker, deployment or automation tooling and any development languages (the team use Java)
