Software Engineer (Golang, AWS) - £40,000 - £60,000As a senior software engineer within our client you will play a key role in developing internal applications and systems as well as improving their customer journey. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of their internal systems, providing the various functions within the business with innovative and near-real time applications.Flexible working hoursFully remote, partially remote (UK based) or fully office based10% time for personal development

Your role:A hands-on software engineering role, helping to develop systems and enterprise softwareBuilding scalable software leveraging AWS services such as; Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, DynamoDBWorking closely with the other engineering teams to build APIs to support & deliver world class featuresFocus on creating testable & maintainable code following Tech standardsWorking in the Tech team with an Agile development approachWorking within an environment where culture is the most important aspect of our day to dayWhat is needed:Must have experience in software engineering & be an expert in one of the following languages: Golang, Node or PHPExperience using cloud based services (such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)Must have a demonstrable knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelinesExperience using version control systems (we use GIT)Extensive experience of online security standards and best practices and take a keen interest in infosecDemonstrable knowledge of Agile practises, such as Kanban & Scrum using Atlassian Jira For more information get in touch or apply with an updated version of your CV.
