Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Hertfordshire

Industry: Insurance - MUST HAVE

The Role:

* Help lead the production of monthly management accounts including profit and loss and balance sheet for presentation to the Executive Committee

* Overseeing the monthly payroll process and HMRC matters including supporting the preparation of annual P11D and PSA submissions

* Year-end closure and preparation of information for auditors and dealing with their queries

* Involved in the development of controls and processes to try and increase the efficiency and governance of the finance system

The Candidate:

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with financial accounting and reporting experience

Ability to review existing processes and propose and implement improvements

Being a credible business partner, dealing with finance and the wider teams in a professional way and manage stakeholder expectations

Behave in a consistently professional manner whilst demonstrating an understanding of the general environment in which AP operates
