Job Title: Technical Accounting Manager - Insurance

Salary: £70,000-£80,000 basic + package

Location: City of London

Client,is a global insurer currently seeking for a Technical Accounting Manager to join their City of London team.

Key responsibilities:

* Own the maintenance of the accounting policies and development of appropriate application guidance, ensuring they reflect up to date best practice

* Act as an advisory point for accounting guidance and work with market units and other Group Finance functions

* Ensuring the proforma Annual Report and Accounts and Half Yearly financial statements are compliant with IFRS, FRC guidance

* Support the Groups reporting framework by ensuring the compliance with relevant accounting standards and industry/FRC guidance.

Key experience:

* Qualified- ACA/ACCA/CIMA

* Excellent knowledge of IFRS / GAAP

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Good team player
