You will join as an experienced Finance Director as a key member of the senior team. You understand no spreadsheet can offer all of the information needed, so using your meticulous approach to work, you will provide, with a blend of humour & seriousness, to non-expert colleagues, understandable figures & business intelligence required to take intelligent commercial decisions.You will be 'keeping the score' so your colleagues can perform to the best of their ability. Title: Finance DirectorLocation: Warwickshire commutable from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Birmingham DaventryDuration: Permanent AppointmentStart Date: ASAP the client will wait for the right person.Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience + pension The role Your areas of responsibility will be production of monthly Management Accounts, cash-flow management / forecasting & KPI's giving an overall view + detailed analysis. You'll be responsible for statutory reporting (inc' annual audit), the maintenance of pensions, insurances & payroll as well as financial management of international subsidiaries. You'll be leading on strategic financial planning including management of relationships with banks & bondholders & maximising the benefits available from the implementation of a new ERP solution plus developing a high-calibre financial team. About you It's a given that you will have a proven track record in finance & held a senior finance role within a complex organization, ideally you may be a qualified accountant: (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) but that is not essential. You'll have experience of growing a company, preferably internationally & you like to provide clear, precise & insightful facts & figures to colleagues plus possess a natural keenness to fully understand the company's operational side. Experience in dotcom, employee-ownership or intellectual-property would be a bonus. More important than your technical skills will be you as an individual. You'll be an inquisitive person, have common sense & enjoy learning - being open to innovative models of corporate ownership, governance & financing. It goes without saying that you are an efficient, effective & organized person, in both the physical & digital worlds, have excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, personable, integrity driven approach to work, knowing that your colleagues may know answers to questions you don't. You'll be confident presenting in public as you will be an ambassador of the company at events at the client's award-winning building or online.
