This employer is a leading financial services provider in their specialist field. Employing 450 staff in their three offices in Stockport, they provide consumer and commercial services in the UK for clients across key financial sectors. Working in an accredited (ISO27001, ISO9001) and regulated (FCA, PCI) environment, they manage over 1 million active accounts at any one time.

They are looking for a graduate with a numerate related degree with proven experience in manipulating data from the data source (SQL) to other Microsoft products (ExcelSSISSSRSSSAS). The successful candidate will work in small team, developing valuable data insight. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their relevant experience.

Required skills

- Reporting using Excel Pivot tables and SSRS

- Understand multidimensional reporting (SSAS)

- T-SQL scripting

- Ability to update and maintain large spread sheets

- Understand and maintain SQL Indexes and statistics

- Ability to investigate performance issues in SQL databases

- Implement and maintain jobs to backup and restore databases and log files

- Technical skills in SQL Server Administration (desirable SQL Server 2012 onwards) including monitoring access, security and managing availability and backups

- Technical skills in Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)
