Senior PHP Developer with Cloud Experience, Green eCommerce CompanyThis company is young, energetic and looking to build their IT team!As one of Sweden's fastest-growing bookstores these guys are passionate about sustainability and lowering their prices. Their ambition is to become the greenest, cheapest place for course literature and their journey is just beginning.Right now they want a senior developer to join them in-house house and help them through an exciting part of their growth journey, as they are looking to take the next step into a cloud-hosted environment. They are also going live on an e-books platform, in addition to the course literature which they've built their business on so far.Currently, they're a small team of 2 other developers, so it's important that the developer that joins them is comfortable taking on a broader role.Overall your main focus would be on their eCommerce platform with PHP/Yii and upgrading their existing infrastructure. While modernizing and upgrading legacy code will be a big part of the role before you can start with brand new development. Your function would also see you being Cloud responsible, as you will be the driving force behind moving their environment into the Cloud in the next year.Desired ProfileTo fit in at this company you should be passionate about problem-solving, knowledge-sharing, climate change and sustainability.Technical Skills:5+ years working in back-end development - ideally with PHP (Yii/Laravel/Symfony)Experience of working with production systems in DockerExperience with Cloud-hosted environments (AWS/GCP)Fluency in Swedish and English - written and spokenOther perks:This is a flexible company you can make the decisions and drive things forward - and make a real impact on the business.
