Software Developer Golang London / WFH to £60k

Software Developer (Golang Data Distributed Systems). Opportunity to join a FinTech start-up that operates within the Cryptocurrency space as a market comparison and data provider; you'll gain valuable industry knowledge and improve your technical skills within a supportive, technology driven environment.

As a Software Developer you'll primarily use Golang to integrate with new data sources in a critical role supporting the real-time data pipeline. You'll help to maintain and troubleshoot the data pipeline to guarantee the highest level of data quality; detecting data issues and making fixes; make improvements to monitoring systems and improve and automate tests. You'll be working with terabytes of data in a highly technical environment.

The company can currently offer a remote interview and onboarding process with the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable with 1-2 days expected in the Central London office every couple of weeks for team meet-ups, tech talks etc. going forward.

Requirements:

Technical background with Golang development experience (ideally commercial but will consider personal projects and a strong Github profile)

Familiar with NSQ or other messaging queue

Good working knowledge of Linux OS, bash scripting

Ideally you'll have experience with monitoring systems such as : Icinga, Grafana, Graylog

You're collaborative and enthusiastic with a desire to learn about Cryptocurrency

Degree educated, Computer Science preferred
