Head of Data Engineering and AnalyticsSouth London £150k+ and BenefitsWe are looking for a leader from the Data space to join a leading Insurance provider as they embark on their journey to move from legacy technologies onto a cutting-edge stack based on AWS. The organisation has initiated an Agile transformation programme and are now using the power of Data Analytics as the driving factor for moving the business forward, to continue serving as the UKs finest insurance provider and deliver new and improved value to their customers.You will most likely be in a strategic role, whilst coming from a hands-on technical background during the early stages of your career. You will be familiar with the duties of lead Data expert and equipped with the knowledge that will allow you to put together well-suited Data strategies and programmes in collaboration with C-suite and other 'Heads of' to transform the company and bring out the best from the Engineers within your team.Extensive familiarity with Cloud technologies (particularly AWS) is absolutely paramount. You will be curious about modern, newly-emerged Big Data Analytics tech and not afraid to try something new... even if completely different to what has been done previously in order to achieve cutting-edge results and to revolutionise this industry.This role is very much leading from the front whilst appreciating that it will be a step-away from hands-on responsibilities. We are looking for highly driven individuals with a can-do attitude.
