Cyber Security Specialist - upto £43k + BenefitsMy client is undergoing a tremendous period of growth and technical investment and are looking to add a cyber security specialist to the team.The role will require operational cyber security experience, including the monitoring and maintenance of cyber security tools, such as Web Application Firewall and vulnerability management platforms. Investigation into Security events / incidentsA solid technical understanding and strong knowledge of cyber security best practice, common attack types and detection/prevention methods, including OWASP and NIST guidelinesThe role encompasses providing situational awareness through the detection, containment, and remediation of IT threats. In addition to real-time threats, the SOC Analyst will analyse and respond to undisclosed hardware and software vulnerabilities as well as investigate, document, and report on security issues and emerging trends.SOC tooling experience in an end user environment and familiarity of SIEM tooling will be hugely beneficial.

- Experience threat monitoring

- Forensic analysis experience

- Keen interest in security from vulnerabilities, incidents, Pen testing, attack vectors.
