Software Engineer (Golang, AWS) - Permanent - West Midlands My client a Billion Dollar start up company is looking for a full IT team. There are a number of roles within the business but at the moment were looking for software engineers with Golang experience. You will play a key role in developing internal applications and systems as well as improving their customer journey. Your Duties:A hands-on software engineering role, helping to develop systems and enterprise softwareBuilding scalable software leveraging AWS services such as; Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, DynamoDBWorking closely with the other engineering teams to build APIs to support & deliver world class featuresFocus on creating testable & maintainable code following Tech standardsWorking in the Tech team with an Agile development approachWorking within an environment where culture is the most important aspect of our day to dayWhat is needed:Must have experience in software engineering & be an expert in one of the following languages: Golang, NodeJS or PHP.Experience using cloud based services (such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure).Must have a demonstrable knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines.Experience using version control systems (we use GIT).Extensive experience of online security standards and best practices and take a keen interest in infosec.Demonstrable knowledge of Agile practises, such as Kanban & Scrum using Atlassian Jira.If this role sounds like it could be for you or you would like to now more then please submit your CV to [email protected] or call me on 0203 808 7282.
