Data Architect - Team Manager - Fully Remote My client is a rapidly expanding payment services company looking to gain greater access to the UK market. A fully remote role that would give you the chance to recruit your own team, the client is looking to find an experienced data architect/ engineer to build a data pipeline and create clear-cut analytics tools to help the business expand. Perfect for those who are results driven and thrive in technically-focused roles. The role: Develop and lead the design of a data pipeline that will collect, cleanse and transform data into clear data sets.Architect and lead team implementation of database structures.Design queries and data transfer processes to ensure peak performance of ETL and data models.Continuously improve and upgrade Snowflake database and supporting AWS systems.Design and then oversee methodologies for analytics deployment.Create analytics tool that will use the data pipeline to provide clear insights into business metrics.Provide continuous analysis of the existing data stack and then give astute recommendations to improve data management, analysis and interpretation.Candidate requirements 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing data teams/environments.Exceptional technology knowledge and experience in data warehouse methodologies, including data management, data integration, ETL and analytics system architecture.Built data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes, including implementations in a hybrid environment.Experience managing data from numerous source systems, including CRM/ERP's (i.e., Salesforce, NetSuite) and marketing analytics (i.e., Google Analytics), etc.Experience with Talend required, Snowflake and Looker a plus.Expert in SQL language, stored procedures and functions.Salary/ Benefits:£80,000 per annum.Flexible remote working, with travel required to the office once a month.Competitive pension scheme.Joining bonus for at-home set-up for computers etc.Company will pay for broadband, internet and other at home costs.
