3 months+A Qlik Developer sis required for our public sector client based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be working to improve the client's Network's Open Data Platform (ODP). This comprises a large estate of QlikView dashboards and also Qlik Sense, which has been newly acquired. You will be joining a well-established, medium sized team with a mix of skills.Key responsibilities and deliverables:
- Complete the setup and configuration of Qlik Sense, bringing it into service
- Setup / config / management of Qlik dual use (QlikView - Qlik Sense)
- Improve ETL / deployment of data models / data feeds
- Improve management of the QlikView dashboards
- Contribute to Qlik dashboard design, development and improvement
- Advising and evaluating additional products: extension products, VizLib etc
- Troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues as they arise, with Qlik Support, our infrastructure provider and other parties
- Provide support for other general tasks related to the Business Intelligence service, if and when requiredEssential Experience
- Qlik Sense setup and configuration experience
- Server side administration of QlikView and Qlik Sense (licencing, user access, server configuration)
- Demonstrable experience of developing BI solutions in QlikView and QlikSense
- Preparing and modelling data which is optimised for Qlik (in SQL or in Qlik load script)
- Strong understanding of dashboard design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical process thinking
- Results-driven with the ability to multitask
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Experience of combining data from multiple databases including external datasets
- Comfortable using their own initiative to deliver the requirements of the assignmentsIt would be useful (but not essential) to have:
- Knowledge of the NHS and/or clinical research.
- Data warehouse approaches.
