Implementation Consultant

Manchester/Home based

£65-80kA Implementation Consultant is required for our market leading & award winning Fintech software company to join them in developing next generation analytics and optimisation software designed to address challenges around 'Big Data' in the Financial Services. The successful candidate will join the company taking responsibility and support for the implementation of software into their Financial Services clients. The role is focused on delivering implementations as part of a wider team on our largest clients but with the ability to take wider ownership on several mid-tier/smaller client implementations in parallel.

Key responsibilities* Interact with the client and their stakeholders / PMs on a regular basis through a mixture of email, teleconference and on-site presence

* Contribute to/run workshops to gather client specific implementation requirements. For example, running source data workshops to work with the client to identify the correct financial data to feed into the system based on their business model.

* Contribute to/run reference data workshops to capture client reference data to enable system setup

* Conduct training of end users

* Identify and understand new requirements surfaced as part of implementation and support an efficient handover to the Product team for analysis

* Coordinate technical deployment of the solution

* Timely and accurate communication of status on project workstreams to implementation lead

* Manage delivery of implementations on mid-tier and smaller accounts

* Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

* Manage risks, issues and dependencies across the project

* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

* Coordinate the integration of functions across the business to ensure successful delivery e.g. Product Development and implementation services.

* Review deliverables prepared by team to ensure appropriate quality is maintained (for both internal use and before passing to client)Skill & expereince* Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design

* Understands systems development methodologies, particularly Agile development

* Experienced in systems implementation and the typical project lifecycle required to implement third-party software packages

* Ideally has knowledge of the structures, products, systems and processes for cash and liquidity management within a bank

* Shows appreciation of typical application and technical architectures used in such organisations

* Understands data architectures and types of data used in such organisations

* Understands the typical methods and phases required to implement packaged solution within a large Enterprise

* Ideally from a consulting or financial services background with 5+ years experience

* Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties

* Comfortable leading client facing presentations and workshops as part of delivery process
