Software Development Engineer (FinTech APIs Java microservices) *Remote Process* Pioneering FinTech is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they enter a new phase of growth.

The organisation is transforming the consumer banking space through their unique cloud-based technology. In this Software Development Engineer role you'll have an opportunity to develop your skills on leading edge, complex systems, gain invaluable experience of the modern banking sector and make an impact.

You'll join the accomplished Open Banking team, and will take ownership of mission-critical, backend work relating to the core platform that bridges their client list of global retail banks and their customers. You'll predominantly use Java to code on the highly available platform with a focus on robustness and scalability.

Requirements:

You have good Java development skills (with experience of contributing to backend development of platforms with focus on robustness, scalability)

You have strong API experience

You have good working knowledge of microservices

You are familiar with SpringBoot

They use Kubernetes and CockroachDB so experience of both of these is highly advantageous

As a Software Development Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £80k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
