Application Architect - Cloud Microservices

Location: Remote (Croydon when possible)

Inside IR35

£582/day

6 month contract initially

Required skills:

* Experienced with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ideally AngularJS) and responsive design

* Excitement about emerging web technologies and how to progressively use them in projects.

* Experience working in a devops environment e.g Agile, TDD, CI, Git

* Familiar with using a task runner e.g. Gulp/Grunt.

* Good understanding of Web Accessibility.

* Strong Java skills (ideally Java 1.8), Spring Boot, Maven, Git, DevOps tooling.

* TDD, CI, agile experience preferred

Desirable (non-essential requirements):

* Knowledge of message queuing (ideally RabbitMQ) Elastic Search (or SOLR)

* Experience with architectural design/microservices

* Articulate, strong written and verbal communication

Nice to have skills:

* React Bootstrap,

* Experience using CSS naming conventions, particularly BEM and ITCSS.
