Senior System Engineer - Remote Working - (DevOps - AWS - Linux - Docker)A globally recognised organisation, with a team of over 100 people, are looking to grow by adding a principal cloud platform engineer to their team. Role & Responsibilities;Migrate legacy systems over to AWS.Leading a team of infrastructure professionals with cloud native projects. Working with an in-house software engineering teams, helping them to deliver well architected cloud-native application.Management, maintenance, monitoring, scaling and incident response of our clients global VoIP, Network and SaaS platforms.As a principal engineer you will oversee not only the large-scale projects assigned to you but also leading a team of professionals to help complete company objectives. Although the migration is a big part of the project you will also oversee management, maintenance and monitoring of the systems which include VOIP, Networks and SaaS platforms.Can demonstrate their experience in the migration of legacy systems to an innovative, state of art, AWS Cloud platform.

Skills & Qualifications; Must have AWS,LinuX, Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Scripting (Python or Bash)Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, or CloudFormationConfiguration as Code - SaltStack, Ansible, or ChefYou must be self-motivated, hardworking, able to work alone.The ideal candidate will already be in a senior role with a solid background in Linux based infrastructure and AWS migration projects.Strong CI/CD pipeline management is necessary.If this role sounds like it could be for you or you would like to now more then please submit your CV to [email protected] or call me on 0203 808 7282.
