our two home markets of the UK and the US.Thy are looking for Lead DevOps Engineer - Manchester - Permanent - £65,000K - £80,000Kpa. The role requires the candidate to set up of robust processes, practices and standards for the DevOps team, working within the standard Barclays technology stack adopted by the project. Flexible hours between 8am & 10am starts, dress code quite relaxed.Kids clubs (free) during school holidays, tennis courts, football pitches.Free parking on-site and a Starbucks.Responsibities & Experience Needed; Proven leadership experience with teams of at least 6 in an enterprise environment.Configuration & environment management.Set up of robust processes, practices, and standards for the DevOps team whilst leading from the front.Experience as DevOps on large, complex applications in an enterprise environment. Experience in using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, Tomcat, JBoss, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, Chef, MQ (any) AWS Landing Zone, VPC, EC2, RDS, Lambda & Python, Shell, Java.Control and Governance frameworks - ITIL.The team configures, operates and maintains tools in support of complete end-to-end Software Delivery

Life-Cycle to enable delivery of quality software under tight timelines.The end goal is for the bank to understand and manage its security position better and from that perspective the tooling extends to bespoke solutions as well as integration of off-the-shelf internal tooling and 3rd party software.The role also entails daily oversight and direct line management of team of 10 engineers.Enterprise Security and Cyber Security as problem domains are a bonus!
