In this Software Engineer position you'll play a key role in improving and scaling the core ultra-low latency, high throughput messaging system. 

As a Software Engineer, you'll join a close-knit team of passionate technologists and finance entrepreneurs who've won a reputation for their boundary-breaking approach to software development. With a focus on continual learning and collaboration, you'll pair programme, discuss ideas and think outside the box to improve the ground-breaking real-time systems.

Requirements:

You have strong Java development skills (including multi-threading)

You have experience of working on low latency, high throughput systems (finance environment experience not necessary)

You have good knowledge of Linux OS; TCP, UDP, Ethernet, HTTP and understand the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

You're an advocate of Extreme Programming (XP), TDD (Test Driven Development) / DDD (Domain Driven Design)

You're a positive team player who excels when working collaboratively
