Software Engineer (Golang, AWS, PHP)

As a senior software engineer within our client you will play a key role in developing internal applications and systems as well as improving their customer journey. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of their internal systems, providing the various functions within the business with innovative and near-real time applications.

* A hands-on software engineering role, helping to develop systems and enterprise software

* Building scalable software leveraging AWS services such as; Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, DynamoDB

* Working closely with the other engineering teams to build APIs to support & deliver world class features

* Focus on creating testable & maintainable code following Tech standards

* Working in the Tech team with an Agile development approach

* Working within an environment where culture is the most important aspect of our day to day

What is needed:

* Must have experience in software engineering & be an expert in one of the following languages: Golang, Node or PHP

* Experience using cloud based services (such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)

* Must have a demonstrable knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines

* Experience using version control systems (we use GIT)

* Extensive experience of online security standards and best practices and take a keen interest in infosec

* Demonstrable knowledge of Agile practises, such as Kanban & Scrum using Atlassian JiraAll applicants will be reviewed by a senior member of staff within 24 hours of completion.
