Java Developer / Junior Software Engineer London to £55k

Java Developer / Junior Software Engineer (Java 8 / 11) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to learn and progress your career at a fast growing FinTech that is enabling traditional high street banks to compete with online, tech driven rivals via its suite of cloud based banking solutions?

As a Java Developer / Junior Software Engineer you will join a small, collaborative Agile team responsible for highly transactional card payment systems. You'll be working on a modern technology stack encompassing AWS and microservices; the team is currently using Java 8 and moving to Java 11, using TDD to produce quality software solutions.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / process and 100% work from home likely to be until Spring 2021 with 3-4 days a week WFH thereafter. Requirements:

You have commercial software engineering skills with modern core Java and ideally some multi-threading experience

You're familiar with Test Driven development (TDD) and have written your own unit tests

You're familiar with SOLID design principals and have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Data Structures, Algorithms and OOP

You're a collaborative team member with good communication, the aptitude and desire to learn
