Data Migration Architect Experience:                              Has atleast 10-12 years of experience in ETL based Data Migration projects (preferably in Core Banking or any other large data migrations)                             Hands on experience in Informatica ETL development. Should be Hands-on with PWX and Performance tuning for extracting large volume data.     Secondary skills - Informatica Power exchange and DB2                             Proven experience in handling data migration projects (using ETL based solution) in Architect capacity                             Able to translate business needs into Technical requirements                             Excellent communication and listening skills                             Having prior working experience of Customer interfacing role                             Able to provide thought leadership to the DM team                             Flexible to travel onsite for long term Job Description: ü  Responsible for E2E Data Migration Solution for the UBS RIGI program using existing Central Migration Framework (Informatica Powercenter and PWX) ü  Drive Knowledge transition sessions on existing Framework from incumbent vendor ü  Participate in workshops to understand the migration volumes, sources and transformation needs ü  Provide overall architecture of ETL solution and plan for Data migration execution ü  Participate in DM strategy discussions and implementation planning ü  Gather business cleansing and data validation requirements by working with Business SMEs, Client Migration Lead ü  Gather Business inputs for data reconciliation, validation and auditing requirements ü  End to end ownership of data objects starting with source data extraction till target system uploading ü  Understand the data selection criteria, source-target mappings, data transformation/ conversion logic ü  Hands-on in Informatica Development using PWX connectors for DB2 mainframe databases ü  Identifying data gaps and designing system logic /approach to generate missing data ü  Responsible for Performance tuning using Advance tuning features in PWX ü  Define Migration Cutover Strategy & Load Schedule along with Client Migration Lead ü  Gain input and acceptance from Client governance IT and business data, process and technical owners during design phase of new / changed requirements ü  Run review meetings with the Client stakeholders and provide updates on achieving optimization and industrialization targets ü  Responsible for timely delivery of phase wise Project Deliverables Must to have Informatica Power centre V10 ( min )experience with Informatica Power exchange and DB2 as secondary skill.
