Azure Cloud Engineer

Bolton

£40,000-£50,000An Azure Cloud Engineer is required for our client based in Bolton.

The ideal candidate will be looking to help the client progress their journey into DevOps. You will be joining the Infrastructure and Programmes stream to help automate and provision environments across the organisation's platforms and you will be the technical lead for the design, implementation and maintenance of their automated pipelines.

You must have experience in working with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS together with experience of version control systems. You must also have demonstrable experience of CI/CD.Key Accountabilities:

*You will manage the automation and provisioning of environments across the organisation's platforms

*You will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of automated pipelines for all DevOps activities

*You will manage the build and deployment of software artefacts to all environments with a defined and documented release process

*Specify and deploy appropriate management tools to monitor the health of software artefacts

*You will work closely with key team members to instil best practices

*You will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure and Programmes to ensure IT objectives are achievedExtras:

*Agile - Experience of Agile Scrum methodology is an advantage.

*You will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic

*You must have good analytical skills, methodical, accurate and show great attention to detail.

*You will be able to communicate in clear and concise manner both written and verbal.

*You must be flexible/adaptable to change.

The client will support working from home 2-3 days per week
