The Library, Technology and Information (LTI) Service is seeking to appoint a Head of IT to lead all aspects of the Operations, Infrastructure, Application and Data team activities. This will include resource and capacity planning, assurance of cyber security, and delivering a customer-focused service working to agreed timescales.

This is an exciting time to join the University, which is working hard to be at the cutting edge of digital delivery to our students, deploying a range of innovative solutions, working in partnership with JISC. You will be involved in leading some flagship developments to streamline and enhance our services, working in partnership with a range of colleagues and stakeholders across the University. Customer service and student satisfaction are the driving force behind all that we do. You will need experience of leading a team of analysts, technicians, administrators and developers, enabling them to deliver a high quality and innovative range of IT solutions and maintain a reliable IT infrastructure and response service through effective team engagement, programme management and skills development.

You will need a can do approach and an ability to promote a culture that encourages working together as a team aiming to achieve customer delight. You will have a commitment to keeping abreast of relevant teaching and technological developments relevant to technology-enhanced learning.
