Web Developer London / WFH to £75k

Web Developer / Front End Developer (JavaScript React DOM CSS) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems, continually learning and progressing your career in a supportive, diverse team environment? You could be joining a pioneering knowledge-search technology start-up.

As a Web Developer you will build and own the web front end architecture, pushing the boundaries of modern engineering to build fast and ambitious web applications. You'll partner with the Product Team as part of a cross functional Agile development team to design elegant and intuitive UI components and pro-actively drive improvements. You will be mainly using Vanilla JavaScript, with React and open source technologies used on a project by project basis, you'll be able to suggest technology choices and reason about trade-offs made.

There is currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home for the foreseeable future with a gradual return to the office at some point, although you'd only be expected in once a week for team catch-ups, tech meet-ups etc.

Requirements:

Strong Vanilla JavaScript design and development experience plus React

Good understanding of the complexities of the DOM and CSS, especially how they interact

Well versed in Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, Design Patters, Data Structures - good understanding of back end code

Collaborative nature, keen to learn and share knowledge with others
