Design & Delivery Engineer - Hyperconvergence

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design & Delivery Engineer to join a successful and fast-growing business with lovely offices in Stoke and Reading. You'll be joining a business that delivers fully managed secure ICT services to the UK's Defence and Security sectors and to other government departments which have complex and demanding security requirements.

This position will play a key role in the support of a variety of innovative, accreditable, cost efficient and profitable solutions which comply with HMG's security classification system. These solutions are operated at the company's premises in Staffordshire and are the foundation for the Company's secure managed ICT services to MoD and other public sector customers.

Responsibilities Design Support: To feed your Hyperconvergence & virtualisation knowledge into the design process, including participating in reviews, and documenting relevant design patterns.Contribute (mainly in virtualisation) to the development, evaluation and implementation of the Company's Technology Roadmap.Assist in the production of virtualisation design and documentation where appropriate. Product Development:To conduct research into Hyperconvergence, virtualisation & storage products and solutions.Assist in building and integrating appropriate prototypes and technology demonstrators.Support the development of build and test facilities. System Installation:Build, install and configure managed virtualised ICT services in line with the company's product set and customer requirements.Conduct the technical day to day relationship with internal customer service teams and 3rd party supplier interfaces.Ensure all appropriate installation documentation is produced.
