Cyber Security Engineer / Analyst (MSc PhD Computer Science) *Remote Process* Hyper-growth start-up is seeking a skilled, ambitious technologist to work on their AI and machine learning based platform at the bleeding edge of cyber security.

As a Cyber Security Engineer you'll develop and refine your skills across threat hunting, penetration testing, SOC analysing and red teaming. You'll combine security engineering and operations to play a critical role in designing and developing the core platform, in conjunction with working with clients to mitigate risks and liaise with the development teams to advance automation-focused projects.

  • You're degree educated (2.1 or above) in Computer Science or closely related discipline (MSc or PhD advantageous)
  • You have a keen interest in cyber security and understanding of key concepts and protocols
  • You have commercial experience in SOC analysis, threat hunting and penetration testing / security monitoring
  • You can code in any OO programming language
  • You have experience using different operating systems and networking technologies
  • You're a confident, self-assured communicator who can form robust working relationships at any level of business
