£38,210 to £42,607 + London weighting of £4,492 p/a if applicable  Be part of something ‘outstanding' for yourself and children While predominantly known for the role Cafcass takes in supporting 135,000+ Children and Young People in family court cases, what may be less well known is that our targeted use of technology is a key factor in ensuring we are at the forefront of our sector. Technology is a critical enabler for our staff, and we are proud to work hand-in-hand with colleagues to provide the tools and service that ultimately benefits children and families. But there is always more to do. We mostly work with a range of private sector partners to deliver our IT service, but we also have an in-house development team. And we're expanding to reflect the scope of our work and its importance to the organisation and are looking for an Lead Developer to join our fast-paced and innovative team. In this position you will play a key role in: Leading the in-house IT applications development team, providing a business-focused service Prioritising and allocate the work of the team, supporting the Development Manager in the management of the backlog Developing in-house applications to meet business needs. You will have experience of: Leading and managing a team of developers Developing SharePoint applications using CSS, JavaScript and jQuery and be familiar with Microsoft solutions such as Power Automate Working with external service providers Database design and development, reporting tools and languages including SQL and SSRS. We are completely flexible on location and while it is reasonable to expect some national travel may be required at times, this isn't expected to be a predominant feature.
