My client is looking for a Head of Sales to join the Senior Leadership Team due to high growth and investment received to grow the current team from 5 to 18! This is a career defining opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales with a strong Sales leadership background scaling and building teams. Great customer service is the key as we don't want an aggressive sales approach. It is very much a consultative sales approach.Due to the nature of this role it is essential you have start-up brand experience, and the ability to build sales as a challenger/disruptor brand. This is a full-on fast paced multi-faceted role. You will have to quickly attack the market with energy and tenacity and with fierce competition from big players, you need to stand out from the crowd! Build your dream team and provide invaluable insights into product integration. This is role is not for the faint hearted, but an amazing challenge! Role: Head of Sales - reporting into the CCOSalary: £70-£80,000 + 25% annual bonus + equity TBCStart Date: ASAPKey Accountabilities:Sales and Operations (70%) and Product Marketing (30%) - Product Integration more than development.Essential:Worked within a Start-up environment, with high growthTelecoms, Tech or Media sectorExperience:MUST HAVE - Strong sales leadership and Operations background with proven experience in scale-up in a start-up, fast-paced environment.Experience of product management and full prod lifecycleAn intensely collaborative and participatory approachWorked in a high-growth start-up environment, not a big corporate so you understand the journey, culture- fast paced, full autonomy and can hit the ground running.Excellent spoken and written skillsDegree or equivalent working experienceExperience of software licensing would be nice but not essentialBackground maybe a Tech start-up - develop one off / multiple products from incubation to high growth Head of Sales Currently a team of 5 and growth by next March to a team of 16-18 heads - this will a project that you will lead and own, so scale-up experience is essentialExperience in recruiting, growing, training and leading the team>putting processes in place etc Product IntegrationA good understanding or agile development principles and practiceExperience of product management and full prod lifecyclePrior experience in building product management systems and processes in a start-up environmentExperience in product management in a high-growth start-up environment in either Telecoms, Tech or Media sectorExperience managing complex solutions combining hardware and software elements Environment / Culture Committed and dedicated to make a success of the roleFull on and extremely busy role - not a 9-5pmNatural collaboratorAgile and embraces changeFairly flat structure so you are in touch will all c-suite SLT.Entrepreneurial flair with tons on enthusiasm and ambitiousThe culture is very much work hard, but you are rewarded.
