MSL Manager - Inflammation Team CH (Derm/Rheum)Duration: 24 months (+ high possibility of extension) Start : ASAP Location : Zug AreaWe are currently seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison Manager - Inflammation (field based, 100%). The main purpose of this role is to maximize our client's value propositions through medical and scientific projects, services and expertise for benefit of patients (according to Corporate and European strategies), to coordinate the implementation of medical affairs (MA) programs in local territories with Sales Representative and Development Field Operations Representatives as well as to support Medical Advisor in developing local territory MA tactics of a therapeutic area or product. Furthermore, the successful candidate will implement and execute MA plan in the field, provide scientific communication and medical information on request and proactively where appropriate as well as medical insights for medical and brand plan.Additional responsibilities include: Opinion Leader (OL) Engagement and Data DiscussionsIdentifies, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future Opinion Leaders, Brand Advocates, cooperative groups and key external audiencesDevelops and implements local OL Plans, with local brand team and in agreement with MA planWorks with Sales Representatives to ensure prioritization of engagement with key OLsEnsures medical/legal excellence and complianceStudy Support / Evidence GenerationIdentifies new research/study opportunities in collaboration with Medical AdvisorWorks with Development Field Operations Representatives to ensure prioritization of study site selectionMarket Insights, Access & ValueGathers insights on competitive intelligence, patient journey and reports OL feedbackDevelops required qualitative and quantitative insights reports; collates competitor informationInternal and External (HCP) SupportEnsures timely response to medical inquiriesImplements and disseminates high quality medical and scientific educational programs; gives clinical and scientific presentations at sites/cooperative groups/hospital formulariesDelivers targeted internal trainingsCooperates with other MSLs in Medical Team on joint projectsYour profile: Minimum RequirementsMedical or scientific education or experience from similar positionsAdvanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional trainingMedical / scientific research experienceWillingness to travel within the whole of Switzerland;Excellent project management and presentation skillsLanguage skills - German ("near" native), French and English (business level) Preferred RequirementsScientific expertise in dermatology/rheumatology/immunology and related products, disease states, and interested in latest discoveriesExperience in affiliate Medical Department or Clinical DevelopmentExperience with clinical study management and conductKnowledge on clinical outcomes and value messagesUnderstanding of the Swiss health care system and decision-making processesKnowledge of commercialization and business practicesGood knowledge of clinical research, drug safety, legal and compliance environmentWillingness to continuously expand medical, scientific, market, and industry knowledgeNetwork of expert contacts in SwitzerlandSthree Switzerland is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
