Software Engineer / Python Developer (Trading Linux SQL R&D) *Remote Process WFH* Are you a process-driven Software Engineer looking for a unique challenge? Would you like the opportunity to earn significant bonuses in a highly profitable, industry-leading algorithmic trading house?

As a Software Engineer you'll predominantly focus on backend development, where you'll take ownership of designing and building highly reliable, testable Python and batch web systems to support global trading operations.

You'll have the chance to get stuck into a strong pipeline of projects including plenty of Greenfield development, where you'll work with the business development and sales teams to develop ground-breaking new products and features for financial exchanges and a new FX exchange.

Requirements:

You have strong object-oriented Python development experience

You have good knowledge of Linux (basic system administration tasks)

You're familiar with more advanced SQL techniques and PostgreSQL

You have broad knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures

You're an advocate of TDD, BDD and clean coding practices

You have good working knowledge of CI/CD and experience with frequent releases

You're degree educated, Computer Science (or similar technical / scientific discipline)

Desirable: Puppet, Jenkins, Django, C/C++, experience in one or more relevant financial areas (market data / order management / algorithmic trading / financial systems integration / compliance)
