Lead QA EngineerSalary - up to £110k + Bonus + Bens We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join a global FinTech providing analytics and archiving solutions to the global financial sector. Their services are delivered to over 90 countries and they have recently restructured to smaller 'pod' teams allowing for a more detailed and accurate development approachThe Lead QA Engineer will lead test resources and practices towards the delivery of their highly scalable services and platforms. The applications are built in a Core Java environment where, as the Lead QA Engineer, you'll need to have sufficient Java programming experience to lead by example.We are offering the Lead QA Engineer:a focal team role responsible for ensuring efficient testing procedures across multiple applicationsdrive continual improvement across the team's testing and automation strategiesmanagement responsibility including hiring, reviews and mentoring of more junior engineersThe Lead QA Engineer will be joining a company passionate for TDD and clean code. It is a heavily tested environment as their solutions and applications are used by global banks and financial institutions.As the Lead QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining and organising the teams test planning. As well as the design and development of automation frameworks, tests and tooling. The Lead QA Engineer will also be hands with testing libraries, code reviews, test execution and documentation.The company are currently priorisiting London growth, which acts as their UK/EU headquarters. They have grown from 40 to 80 already this year, and plan to get to 150 in 2021.
