http://www.acertus.co.uk/nhsx/index.html     The role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Primary Care team within NHSX who are responsible for commissioning digital solutions for Primary Care that are aligned with the NHS Long Term Plan, GP Contract and NHSX strategy, policy, standards and guidelines. The team works closes with NHS England's regional and local structures to ensure successful deployment of digital solutions and services into GP Practices, Federations and Primary Care Networks. As a Programme Support Officer, you will work in a matrix way with other Programme Managers, Programme Heads and Programme Directors within the team to help deliver a number of key priority programmes through providing an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated programme support service. The candidate We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a relevant degree (such as those in health, project management, business change or transformation, IT, digital technology, data or informatics) and who has a keen interest in how digital transformation can make things better for the NHS patients and staff that we serve. The successful candidate will role model our organisations values and behaviours by being Open, Respectful, Collaborative and Innovative. They will have exceptional attention to detail, promoting high standards in all that they do and be adaptable and flexible in meeting the fast-paced challenges that the Digital Primary Care portfolio entails. Previous experience in a similar role within health or the wider public sector environment would be an advantage but not essential. Skills and experience required A relevant degree within health, project management, business change or transformation, IT, digital technology, data or informatics. Knowledge or experience of supporting projects/programmes which should cover: identifying risks, issues and dependencies; planning, monitoring and reporting. Project and Programme Management (PPM) qualification desirable (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Waterfall, APMG). Alternatively, an understanding of PPM tools and techniques will be helpful. Strong communication skills both written and orally. The ability to liaise with stakeholder at varying levels of seniority. Building productive relationships and managing expectations.  Report writing and presentation delivery. Excellent analytical skills, the ability to understand complex concepts and ideas, interpreting and bringing together information from multiple sources. Recommending appropriate solutions and communicating results in a simple way. Able to operate with a high level of autonomy, working on own initiative, organising and prioritising own and other's workloads to changing and often tight deadlines.
