Infrastructure Engineer / SRE Leeds to £80k

Infrastructure Engineer / SRE (Terraform IaC Linux Automation CI/CD). Are you a technologist Infrastructure Engineer seeking complex and interesting systems to deepen your knowledge and experience?

You could be joining a technology driven FinTech; you'll remain hands-on and make a real impact on a company that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, Cloud based technology and enjoying perks such as flexible working (currently WFH and a remote interview process with 2-3 days work from home going forward).

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will focus on automating builds via CI/CD pipelines and getting code into production as quickly and efficiently as possible; supporting services before they go live via system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. You'll use automation to scale systems sustainably and help to make improvements, evolving systems and driving change that improves the reliability, speed and security.

You'll be based in modern open plan offices in Central Leeds with a great team atmosphere, casual dress code, a fully stocked fridge and lots of social activities.

Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview on onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

You have a broad range of infrastructure / platform engineering skills coupled with CI/CD experience: Terraform (build and deploy experience) essential plus at least some of the following: Jenkins, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

You understand the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Good knowledge of Cloud based platforms (AWS preferred)

Good knowledge of Linux OS, Networking (routing, switching)

Collaborative technologist, continual learner who is constantly seeking improvement
