As a Senior Python Software Engineer you will play an important role as part of a team of Python Developers in a growing and already successful Cambridge technology company. As a Senior Python Developer in a team of industry experts you will have the chance to develop and progress your career quickly, primarily developing Python based software in a Linux environment. Key Skills for the successful Senior Python Developer:Professional Python development experienceKnowledge of Python 3 and beyondExperience with any of; pytest, pyhamcrest, robot-framework, mypy, numpy Experience with Linux Ability to solve complicated development issuesFamiliar with TDD, BDD, Component and integration testsYou will have immediate responsibility across the full Software Development process including analysing user requirements, writing robust and organised code and developing automated test suites and systems. Experience with git, CI/CD, AWS and terraform/puppet is also advantageous. You may be faced with challenging development issues and will need to be self-motivated and be able to think logically to solve problems.
