Senior System Engineer - Remote - DevOps - AWS - Linux - Docker

What they are looking for is somebody that can demonstrate their experience in the migration of legacy systems to an innovative, state of art, AWS Cloud platform. As a principal engineer you will oversee not only the large-scale projects assigned to you but also leading a team of professionals to help complete company objectives.

The ideal candidate will already be in a senior role with a solid background in Linux based infrastructure and AWS migration projects. Strong CI/CD pipeline management is necessary. Although the migration is a big part of the project you will also oversee management, maintenance and monitoring of the systems which include VOIP, Networks and SaaS platforms.Role & Responsibilities

* Migrate legacy systems over to AWS

* Working with an in-house software engineering teams, helping them to deliver well architected cloud-native applications

* Management, maintenance, monitoring, scaling and incident response of our clients global VoIP, Network and SaaS platforms.

* Leading a team of infrastructure professionals with cloud native projects.Skills & Qualifications

* AWS

* Linux

* Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

* Scripting (Python or Bash)

* Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, or CloudFormation

* Configuration as Code - SaltStack, Ansible, or Chef

* You must be self-motivated, hardworking, able to work aloneBenefits
