Actuarial Analyst - Reserving & Capital (Lloyds)

London

£30000 - £40000 per annum

Global (Re)Insurer currently looking for a junior Actuary to join their Lloyds syndicate.

Working across both Insurance and Reinsurance, the successful candidate will have both Reserving and Capital Modelling responsibilities, with the opportunity to specialise later down the line.

Reserving:

* Supporting the quarterly reserve review process, ensuring the data used is complete, accurate and appropriate and appropriate MI is up-to-date

* Performing quarterly reserving reviews and presenting results of review to actuarial management

* Supporting reserving team in meeting management and regulatory reporting requirements

* Performing the regular calculation of Solvency II Technical Provisions in line with relevant guidance and external reporting requirements

* Contributing to the development of the reserving process and related databases, applications and systems

* Working with external parties (auditors, consultants, Lloyds) as required to support the Syndicates external audit and validation processes

Capital:

* Co-ordination of the data and parameterisation of the Internal Model

* Assisting in the development of the Internal Model and associated processes

* Running the Internal Model to produce output to support the business

* Assist with the calculation and reporting of capital requirements in line with the Lloyds process

* Assist with the validation of the Internal Model

* Documentation of the Internal Model and associated processes
