The Role

You will work in a team of DevOps engineers, working with a modern technology stack. In a fast paced environment which would be a perfect contract for anyone looking to progress in their career.

Responsibilities will include:Designing and building infrastructure in AWS as part of a product teamHelping support the application in a production environmentOptimising costs in AWSEnsuring TIO (Technology, Infrastructure and Operations) standards of operational maturity are maintained inside the product's infrastructureBuilding tools to help other team members self-serve for most operational tasks

Key Skills and ExperienceSupporting product teams with customer facing productsAWS Infrastructure As Code (ideally Terraform)Excellent Linux experienceConfiguration managementSeveral of the following skills:Linux experience at scaleScripting (python, bash)Java codingLarge scale monitoring and reporting (New Relic)Continuous integration systems (git/Jenkins)Kubernetes or other container orchestration systemsHadoop cluster support
