Front End Developer London to £90k

Front End Developer Lead (Node.js Vue.js JavaScript) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems used by millions of people every month whilst remaining hands-on, taking ownership and providing technical leadership?

Joining an Agile development team, as a Front End Developer you will take a lead role in building intuitive interfaces to help users find deals and optimise every aspect of the page, ensuring the fastest possible in-browser performance on both mobile and desktop devices. Day to day you'll be updating current products and building new features, working to improve efficiency and functionality and collaborating with product owners, tech leads, engineers and QA to prioritise and resolve issues.

This Front End Developer role presents an excellent opportunity to work on a website / mobile app used by millions of people every month to make savings across a wide range of services. You'll receive regular training and be encouraged to use the best tool for the job.

Driven by technology the company offers a remote interview / onboarding process and the ability to work from home during the current social distancing measures with 3 days a week WFH going forward. Requirements:

You have advanced Vanilla JavaScript skills with a broad knowledge of JavaScript frameworks including Node and ideally Vue.js

You're experienced working on Isomorphic applications (either client or serverside rendered)

You have a deep knowledge of browser optimisation, page speed metrics and performance tools

You're familiar with Continuous Integration and effective testing of frontend code (they use Jest, Cypress, Jasmine and Karma)

You're a keen technologist, keep up to date with new and emerging technologies, able to pick up new languages and tools quickly

You're a collaborative team member with excellent communication skills, happy to help mentor others and take a lead on projects
