Python Developer / SRE (Linux DevOps) *Remote Process* Industry-leading Hedge Fund is seeking a stand-out technologist to join their highly successful global team.

In this Python Developer position you'll be working alongside brilliant minds and will be equipped with all the tools you need to scale your development, be appropriately challenged and successful.

You'll collaborate extensively with traders and fellow technologists to design, build, maintain and test cutting-edge trading systems. You'll take ownership of solving critical technical challenges involving Big Data and HPC C++ code running on Linux OS.

You'll use Python to code, with a focus on automation on high availability, high-throughput, low-latency trading systems. As a Python Developer your contribution will be mission-critical, as you'll be ensuring these systems operate smoothly to stay in production.

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. You'll be based in offices in the heart of the City in due course, with fantastic onsite facilities*

Requirements:

You are a passionate technologist who pursues independent learning and development wherever possible

You have strong Python coding skills and are a Linux OS expert

You have experience using DevOps tools like Jenkins and Ansible (and advocate the use of automation wherever possible)

You have a strong foundation in Computer Science (degree OR appropriate experience accepted)

Ideally you will have some C++ coding ability / you are keen to develop your C++ skills
