£30,000 - £50,000 + Private Medical + Bonus + BenefitsOpto-Electronics Design Engineer position available at a rapidly expanding company, offering the chance to work on ground breaking, innovative products and the chance for future managerial progression.Do you have experience working with optical-electronic technology? Do you have a degree in Electronics Engineering?This company develops cutting edge environmental instrumentation devices. They are rapidly expanding due to the success of their new breakthrough product. Due to this expansion, they are looking to add an ambitious Opto-Electronics Design Engineer to join their dedicated team.In this role you will be tasked with managing the full product lifecycle. This will include creating the design for the instrumentation, testing the devices, outsourcing to other engineering companies and overseeing production. You will also be developing and maintaining relations with internal staff and suppliers to provide technical support and to develop future products.The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in electronics engineering and have experience working with optical electronic technologies.The role:

* Design of instrumentation products

* Testing of products

* Overseeing production

* Outsource engineering

* Managing full product life-cycle

The person:

* Degree in electronics engineering (2:1 or above)

* Experience of optical-electronic technologies

* Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
