Design Engineer (High Pressure Gas Systems)

£40,000 - £50,000 + Private Medical + PensionDesign Engineer position on offer within a market leading company that have grown rapidly throughout the COVID period, offering the chance to play a vital role in the company's success and a chance to work on exciting new projects.Are you experienced in designing high pressure gas systems? Do you have an Engineering degree at 2:2 or above?The company is an innovator within its field. They create a highly technical product within a niche market, which is sought after globally. They are one of the only companies that design their product and therefore have seen a large increase in demand over the COVID-19 period. They are now looking for a Design Engineer to join their friendly and dedicated team.In this role you will be designing high level systems, tailoring the product to each individual client. You will also be tasked with coordinating subcontractors, procurement of materials and producing documentation. The position requires frequent travel to site and very occasional travel abroad. This is a multifaceted role with responsibilities increasing as the company expands.The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree with experience of designing and implementing high pressure gas and hydrogen systems. The candidate must hold a valid UK driving license and passport.The role:

* Designing and implementing high level systems

* Coordination of subcontractors

* Procurement of resources and materials

* Produce documentation

The person:

* Engineering Degree at 2:2 or above (Mechanical preferred)

* Experience working with high pressure gas systems

* Experience designing high pressure gas systems

* Hydrogen systems experience preferred
