Senior Solutions Architect£41,000 - £43,000
This is a full-time position for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

The role Using your analytical and architectural skills, you'll have the chance to provide specialist support for large-scale IT services across government. Day-to-day, you'll interpret business needs and develop solutions. As part of this, you'll be responsible for the strategy and design of enterprise ICT architecture. It means you'll maintain a roadmap, guiding the design so it aligns with the overarching technical vision. Liaising with a range of people, you'll provide insightful advice and guidance - especially to a non-technical audience. Plus, you'll inspire everyone in the department to keep up with technological advances and you'll lead our system security design and accreditation. Your profile
To join, you'll have experience of creating and maintaining roadmaps and strategies, along with creating solution architecture documentation. This'll all be supported by your background of reviewing and overseeing major system designs, decision and project planning. Importantly, you'll have great communication skills and the ability to talk to a huge range of people. Ideally, you'll also have working knowledge of enterprise virtualisation and storage, practical experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), or proven experience in task automation.
