Senior Supply Chain / Forecasting / Demand Planning Analyst Salary circa £40,000 + benefits Senior Demand Planning / Forecasting Analyst for London import & distribution businessThe RoleAs Senior Forecasting / Demand Planning / Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide leadership and management to the supply chain team, developing annual plans to deliver strategic business targets whilst managing the company cash flow and stock budget. You will build a high-performance dynamic forecasting module, wssi and data management system using your statistical modelling and forecasting skills to analyse customer sales data. Key responsibilities include:Support the buying team to manage product life cycles, range planning and forecastingAssessment and optimisation of product ranges and SKU rationalisationDevelop and implement improvements to the merchandising / forecasting processesManage Purchase Orders based on demand planning / supplier requirementsManage supplier relationships to ensure products are produced/shipped/delivered correctlyCoordinate planned product promotions, stock rotations and discontinued salesOwn Bi-weekly merchandising and stock meetings to resolve all issuesThis role sits on the Senior Leadership Team and feeds into the company-wide strategic and operational business planning sessions, developing strong working relationships with the Sales, Buying, Customer Service and Management teams and liaising between them.The CompanyOur London based client is one of Europe's leading importers and distributors of quality products from around the world.The PersonAs Senior Supply Chain Analyst you will have substantial experience in a logistics, distribution andr warehousing environment.
