I am looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work a 12 month contract in the North East

Day to day duties ;

Part of Manufacturing Project Team.

Attend weekly progress and ad-hoc project meetings.

Review project manufacturing needs.

Set up of manufacturing shop - process, equipment and facility requirements.

Liaison with external suppliers for specialist equipment, tooling and material supply.

Generation of Material Requisitions for project requirements.

Work with Project control team for estimation of manufacturing material requirements and scope.

Identify specialist equipment and fixtures.

Oversee manufacturing trials to prove proposed manufacturing method/process.

Produce manufacturing reports to cover all activities as necessary.

Candidates need to have welding/fabrication background.
