Our Government Client is looking for a Service Architect to assist in the design of proportionate and affordable services that support business & technical needs, including reuse, where practicable. The design scope may span multiple suppliers/components/support levels. Outcome: comprehensive service designs, incorporating business requirements, wider standards and Enterprise Services capabilities. Acting as Subject Matter Expert and ensuring the design meets user and wider needs.The Role:Producing service designs which ensure that support for the new service is comprehensive, efficient and reuses existing capability.Developing and documenting the proposed service design for the integration and implementation of solutions, working with and across departments to ensure that the requirements are included in business cases, project plans, procurements and Service Design Packages.Leading the evaluation of a new service once it has been integrated, identifying best practices and lessons learned.Creating detailed plans for the integration of new services into existing architecture, considering the broader context, strategies and operating model of the organisation.Key Skills/Experience:ITIL V4 - Expert or Master CertificationEvidence of strong process, technical and team leadership skills, with a passion for delivering leading edge designs and inspiring a culture of technical excellence and innovative solution designExperience of navigating the complex landscapes of technologies, 3rd party suppliers (driving the procurement process), internal and cross-government (or similarly complex) teamsManagement & delivery of complex B2B service solutions within time, cost and quality targets, ensuring solutions are robust, resilient, and appropriately implemented, tested and documentedExperience of defining B2B standards, owning and contributing to the technical roadmap and strategyExperience in anticipating and advising on future technology changes that present opportunities for the product or serviceAbility to communicate clearly in a language which meets the needs of different users/stakeholders through selecting the appropriate channels & formats, and managing expectations whilst adapting to stakeholders' reactions with flexibilityIdentifying process improvements and defining best practice, inspiring teams to follow thisManaging a small team and Human Resource activities, including interviewing, selection / hiring, and conducting performance assessmentsWorking with scaled agile deliveriesUnderstanding of Lean, Agile and DevOps principles within a Product-centric delivery model Service Architect - ITIL V4 Master/Expert (SC Cleared), Design, Proportionate, Affordable, Efficient, Service Design, Integration, Implementation, SOlution, Business Case, Project Plan, Procurement, Evaluation, Best Practices, Lessons Learned, ITIL V4, Expert, Master, Leadership, Inspire, Technical Excellence, Innovative, Cross-Government, B2B, Roadmap, Strategy, Communication, Human Resource, Scaled Agile Delivery, Lean, Agile, DevOps, Product Centric, Public Sector, Government, London, Outside IR35, SC Cleared, SC Clearance, Security Cleared, Security Clearance.
