QA Test Engineer Cambridge to £50k

QA Test Engineer (Python CI/CD Jenkins Integration Testing). Would you like to join a well-funded technology scale-up and collaborate with a team of highly talented software engineers to bring a unique tech for good product to market?

As a QA Test Engineer you will help ensure the quality of the core product, a complex mathematically based C++ algorithmic software that can be used on a range of devices to process audio, such as hearing aids and IoT home devices. Day-to-day you'll collaborate across teams to maintain and develop the integration test suite; perform systems administration and configuration of Jenkins based Continuous Integration infrastructure; develop test setups on prototype boards, embedded CPU and mobile devices and write tests for APIs and SDKs. You'll generate good quality bug reports and document test procedures.

You'll be based in modern offices near Cambridge City centre with a quiet, relaxed working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1600; driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

You have software development and / or testing experience in a commercial software environment

You're able to code with Python and have an understanding of C++ and Linux OS

You have a good working knowledge of CI/CD and Jenkins

You're collaborative, keen to learn and work with a range of technologies
